‘Violation of independence, national sovereignty unacceptable’

TEHRAN, Nov. 24 (MNA) – President Rouhani said that violation of independence and national sovereignty is unacceptable and countries should not interfere in one another’s affairs.

The Iranian president made the remarks in a meeting with his visiting Bolivian counterpart and high ranking officials.

Rouhani said that Iran is ready to offer its experiences in different technology, engineering and agriculture sectors to Bolivia.

“Both the countries cooperate in related oil, gas and energy fields and they can expand ties for mutual interests”, he noted.

The Iranian president also talked about Iran-Bolivia cooperation in fighting against terrorism saying “Today every country holds a vote in the international community and countries should not interfere in one another’s affairs. Every nation’s independence and national sovereignty is significant and violating such rights is intolerable.”

Rouhani underlined that terrorism should be fought in Syria, Iraq as well as Yemen and the crises must be solved through political ways according to the nations’ wills.

Bolivia's President Evo Morales, for his part, said that the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit Meeting is a significant event for member countries.

Talking about Iran-Bolivia's friendly ties, he urged the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Supported by superpowers, independent and anti-imperialism states have always been gripped by terrorism so all the countries should cooperate to fight against the scourge, he added.
